keyboard shortcuts
Every binding in Fleet, grouped by what you are trying to do.
Sessions

⌘W asks first if something is still running there — an agent session, a
npm install, an agent in that session’s Quick Terminal — and names what it
found. An idle shell closes straight away. Turn the check off under
Settings → Terminal.

⌥⌘↑ and ⌥⌘↓ walk the order the sidebar is actually showing, so they stay right when sessions needing you float to the top.

⇧↩ exists because Return and Shift-Return are the same byte in the legacy encoding, so nothing downstream can tell them apart and the line is submitted either way. Fleet sends the escape sequence that means “newline in the buffer” on both sides of that divide, so it works in Claude Code and at a plain shell prompt.
The scroll bindings are there because a program that has asked for mouse reporting takes every wheel event, leaving the pane’s own history with no gesture. They cannot help while something holds the alternate screen, which keeps no scrollback at all.

The system-wide one can be turned off under Settings → Terminal.
Text editing
⌘X, ⌘C, ⌘V and ⌘A go to the focused terminal.
⌥3 types #. Word motion works anyway:

For Emacs bindings in a shell, turn on Use Option as Meta key under Settings → Terminal.
Mouse
- ⌘-click a URL or file path in the scrollback to open it.
http,httpsandmailtogo straight there; anything else asks first, naming the real target. Terminal output picks a link’s text and its destination separately, so a line readinghttps://github.com/…can point at an app in your Downloads folder - Hover a sidebar row to preview that session
- Drag rows to reorder them or move them between groups, except while sessions needing you float to the top
- Right-click a row for rename, colour, group, mute, Reveal in Finder and Copy Resume Command
- Drag and drop an image or file onto a session to paste its path in
